Centre Parcs... An adventure into Sherwood Forest

I have not posted in a couple weeks, how rude of me!I have been lucky enough to go to Centre Parcs for a week, which was magical!
A week of relaxation, wildlife and scummy Italian food, what else do you need? Pampering? Yep had that there too!

Monday- We head off to Nottingham at around 10am and got to CP at around 1pm, we parked up and had a little spot of lunch in Starbucks who now serve a mouthwatering Vanilla Bean Macchiato, which is just heaven in a mug! After wondering around the shops which have various amounts of clothing and gifts; we headed off to get our bikes. We then cycled to our villa which was set out by a lake with so much wonderful wildlife right at our doorstep!

We Spent the rest of the afternoon unpacking and feeding the wildlife, we then went to the Aqua Sana Spa for the evening. This Consisted of 3 hours in Sauna's, Steam rooms and a warm and tranquil outdoor pool. Safe to say we felt extremely refreshed, relaxed and ready for the week!
Our very relaxing spa evening

Tuesday- Today we had a day full of activities! Spinning Class in the morning, which was torture for me as I have never partaken in a spinning class before. It's not as easy as it looks! We then went and had a look around the nature trail and got some lovely photographs of some squirrels! Later that day we went swimming followed by a lovely meal. Safe to say we all slept well that night! zzz

Wednesday- We got up early and went to a Yoga class which was so peaceful and relaxing I felt like a different person when I left the class. We then went and had pancakes at the pancake house which well, what can I say? They were the best pancakes I have ever tried! I had the "New Yorker" Which was bacon and maple syrup.. YUM!! We went swimming again that evening and then had a lovely Chinese for dinner. A day full of really tasty food, basically.

Thursday- Our last full day! :( today we had a lovely fried breakfast and went to play crazy golf, it was such a laugh and well I think its safe to say none of us will becoming pro golfers any time soon! We then went on a nature trail which was fun (photos at the bottom) Me and Kim then went and got our nails done whilst the men went swimming, I had a lovely beautician who asked if she could be a little creative with my nails, of which I agreed to. After we got our nails done, we went back to the villa and got all dressed up, we then went for the nicest meal I have had in a very long time in Strada, I had Spaghetti Bolognese and lots of wine!
