Appreciation Post #1- Chloe

I have decided to write a post each week about someone I think deserves a bit of appreciation.. in the form of a blog post! I don't think there is any doubt that the first post is about my best friend; Chloe.

When I really think about it, I can't actually remember the exact moment we became friends; it just happened. We started working together at an insurance company back in 2014 and have been inseparable ever since. We would text each other as soon as we woke up, message all day in work, have lunch together and text all evening. Which when I think of it like that, it's no wonder we became as close as we are!

Chloe was the first friend I made when I moved to Cheltenham and I really don't know how I would of coped making the transition of moving to a new place without her. I can recall one argument we have ever had and I never want to argue with her ever again (as she's as stubborn as a mule) but it certainly made us so much stronger. Don't get me wrong, we bicker, we are like sisters and if we didn't bicker, well that would be boring now, wouldn't it! We know we love each other so it's always in good taste!

In my last post, I mentioned how due to many factors over the past year, I have felt extremely anxious about several things and Chloe has been amazing through it. She knows when I need her to just sit there and listen about how I feel I have lost friendships or how I am worried about doing/saying something but she also knows when to tell me to stop thinking like that and to have a glass of wine.

In fact, talking of wine, it's most certainly the foundation of our friendship. All of our fondest memories involve wine and that makes me so happy.

Chloe is a beautiful, caring and very sarcastic girl who has a heart of gold and will do anything for her friends and family. She is smart and also quite possibly the most stubborn person on the planet!
She has supported me so much with my blogging and reads all my posts even if it's not of interest to her. I know she doesn't care what I look like, what I weigh or what I wear and that is how a friend is suppose to be.

So this appreciation post for Chloe is the first one as its the most important. I appreciate her for putting up with me when I am drunk, emotional, tired and hungry! And for generally being the best friend I could ever of asked for.

Here are a few photos of us over the past 2 years, I have spent a long time trying to get some photos of us without wine in our hands!

Is there a Friend or family member you feel really appreciative of? If so let me know :)

  1. What a nice post :) Sometimes it's not how long you've known someone for but the connection that you have, I have friends I have met only in the last couple of years and we are way closer than other friends i've had for over 10 years!! <3
