New Year, New Me.. Can it really be done?

So how many times have we heard the classic "New Year, New me" Saying? I will quite honestly put my hand up and admit I say it every year! But can I really stick to it in 2017?
First of all, before I begin, let me just say a MASSIVE Happy New Year to you all!
I am so grateful to everyone who reads my blog and to my family and friends for supporting me through all my blogging, photography and baking.

I hope that no matter what happened in 2016, you have a healthy and happy 2017!

So, "New Year, New Me".. How many times have we all said that? (Myself included!)
I have many resolutions I would like to try my best to keep this year, none of them include changing who I am as such, but slightly altering my way of dealing with things.

Change is good, we should embrace and empower it. I think sitting down (whether it's on the 31st of December or midway through the year) to think about ourselves is a great way to evaluate how we are getting on. Throughout 2016, I found myself change so much and become a more stronger person who wasn't afraid to be myself.

There are many things I would like to change in 2017, some easy and some slightly more difficult, I will keep track of them throughout the year and hopefully in 12 months time I can post about how many I achieved!

My New Year's Resolutions are:
  • To read more books
  • Drink more water
  • Exercise more
  • Save money
  • Spend more time with Family
  • Care less about what people think of me
  • Be Myself
  • Bake more
  • Create my own little business
  • See my Best Friend more often
  • Be more creative
  • Learn a new language
  • Give at least one compliment a day to someone
  • Focus on my blog
I hope I at least try and stick to all these as I know these resolutions will help me throughout the year.

Let me know what yours are if you have any. Is there anything you have tried that just hasn't worked? Anything that has worked?

Much Love
